Whats happening?
The Niombato Library Project began after a short-term Study Abroad program hosted by UAlbany (SUNY) in the summer of 2011. SUNY Alumn Jordan Taylor Hill mainted connection with Waly Faye of the West African Research Center member of Niombato Association who expressed the need for a Library after discussing the desire to work together to provide better educational opportunities to the Senegalese youth. His Online campaign helped facilitate the project by purchasinge a computer, course material, and new infrastrucutre (Tables, Shelves, Office Desk) headquartered in Radio Niombato for the community.
